UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra will be treating the audience in Vuotalo to a robust set of Frank Zappa’s orchestral works in Ed Palermo’s arrangements. Comprising of Zappa’s instrumental classics, the concert menu will include such pieces as King Kong and Peaches en Regalia, plus three newish Zappa renditions written by young and aspiring Finnish arrangers Sampo Kasurinen and Artturi Rönkä. The concert will be conducted by Valtteri Laurell Pöyhönen and the Zappa role is played by talented guitarist Jere Haakana.
This concert sold out in February at G Livelab, so hurry up with the tickets!
