Top Finnish and Russian artists gather together for a joint The Giants of Romance (Romantiikan Jättiläiset) concert at Finlandia Hall on November 6th.
The soloists of the evening are e.g. Diandra, Waltteri Torikka, Jukka Perko, Aarne Pelkonen and Mikko Leppilampi, who will also host the concert. International soloists include e.g. saxophonist Igor Butman and Mariinsky Theater soloist Nelli Gafijatullina and baritone Aleksander Pakhmutov, as well as Elena Putina.
The orchestras of the evening are the UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra conducted by Antti Rissanen and Peterburg Concert Symphony Orchestra.
