The UMO Helsinki Ensemble together with singer Annimaria Rinne take on the Great American Songbook, i.e. popular songs from Broadway musicals and Hollywood films from the 1920s to the 1950s. Expect to hear more or less familiar musical classics with stylish arrangements.

Annimaria Rinne is a Helsinki-based singer who moves casually in the area of jazz and other rhythm music. She’s featured e.g. Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, Turku Philharmonic Orchestra and Pori Sinfonietta. UMO Helsinki Ensemble is a smaller ensemble picked from UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra’s sections. 

The concert was recorded at the Cable Factory in Helsinki, in November 2020. Duration about 50 minutes.
