UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra plays music from the archives: music composed and arranged specifically for UMO over the years by some of Finland’s leading big band writers, such as Jukka Linkola, Jarmo Savolainen and Kari Heinilä. Orchestra revisits some of the best projects from the past decades and puts a 2021 attitude on this historically important music, all originally created by and written for UMO. Conductor Ed Partyka.
