UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra and jazz singer Elena Mindru serve a full range of fascinating and stimulating jazz and big band music from different eras and different contexts. The audience get to know a wide range of different styles of jazz and big band music, from blues to salsa. How do Ed Sheeran or Beyonce fare when dealing with a big band? The master of ceremonies for the entire show is actor Juha-Pekka Mikkola, and the concert is conducted by UMO’s artistic director Ed Partyka.
