Concert cancellations spring 2020

The local health authorities have enforced bans on events due to the continuous spread of Covid-19. UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra will adhere to all regulations. We are working on finding alternative date for all cancelled / rescheduled events. We will inform and guide our clients about the new dates as well as ticket policy as soon as we can.

Please follow this article for new updates!

UMO Helsinki plays Buddy Rich in Vuotalo on 17th March is confirmed to be rescheduled to Tuesday 27th October. The tickets remain valid for the new concert date! If you want to cancel and return your tickets, you can do it via Lippu.fi until 14th April and the ticket price will be refunded. This may take several weeks.

UMO Helsinki feat. Nina Mya: Overcast – The Music of Ed Partyka at Finnish Wind Band Days in Uusikaupunki on 20th March will be cancelled. The organiser will return purchased festival passes. If you bought your ticket via Lippu.fi, please return the tickets at Lippu.fi and the ticket price will be refunded. This may take several weeks.  

Great Voices #1: China Moses feat. UMO Helsinki at Savoy Theatre on 27th March is confirmed to be rescheduled to Thursday 5th November. Great Voices #2: Ola Onabulé feat. UMO Helsinki on 23rd April is confirmed to be rescheduled to 12th December. The tickets remain valid for the new concert dates! If you want to cancel and return your tickets, you can do it via Lippu.fi until 14th April and the ticket price will be refunded. This may take several weeks.

Lunch concert: UMO Helsinki plays Frank Zappa at Savoy Theatre on 31st March is cancelled. Because of the free entry, tickets will not be refunded.

Silent Music: Portraits of Silence concert series will be rescheduled.
Holy Thursday’s 9.4. concert in Musiikkitalo will be replaced with another concert in November 25th. Note: orchestra’s line-up and soloist as well as programme will change to UMO Helsinki Ensemble feat. Annimaria Rinne: Great American Songbook. The tickets remain valid for the new concert date! If you want to cancel and return your tickets, you can do it via Ticketmaster.fi until 14th April and the ticket price will be refunded. This may take several weeks.
Good Friday’s 10th April concert at Mikael Agricola church is confirmed to be rescheduled to Good Friday 2nd April 2021. The tickets remain valid for the new concert date! If you want to cancel and return your tickets, you can do it via Ticketmaster.fi until 14th April and the ticket price will be refunded. This may take several weeks.

UMO Helsinki Ensemble feat. Annimaria Rinne in Sipoo on 28th April is confirmed to be rescheduled to Thursday 3rd December. The tickets remain valid for the new concert date! If you want to cancel and return your tickets, you can do it via Netticket.fi and the ticket price will be refunded. This may take several weeks.

Updated 21st Sept: The concert series UMO Helsinki feat. Guillermo Klein: Tango ARG–FIN which have already been rescheduled once, are now cancelled due to travel restrictions. G Livelab Helsinki: original concert date 7.5.2020 and postponed concert date 11.11.2020 -> cancelled. Vuotalo: original concert date 12.5.2020 and postponed concert date 12.11.2020 -> cancelled. Concert at G Livelab Tampere in May was already cancelled in March. Customers will be refunded the price of the concert tickets, excluding the ticket seller’s service fees paid upon purchase.

The concert UMO Helsinki feat. Aki Rissanen: Art Forms at G Livelab Helsinki 4th June is confirmed to be rescheduled to Friday 19th March 2021. The tickets remain valid for the new concert date! If you want to cancel and return your tickets, you can do it via your ticket agent (Lippu.fi / Tiketti.fi / Glivelab.fi) and the ticket price will be refunded. This may take several weeks.

Helsinki Day’s free concerts at Savoy Theatre will change into online concerts! The concerts will be streamed online and can be enjoyed free of charge on www.helsinkikanava.fi, at www.savoykeikat.fi and via UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra’s YouTube channel from Friday 12 June at 1pm and 3pm on until further. The lineup of the band will change into smaller UMO Helsinki Ensemble and also the concert programme will change. For more information please visit the concert page.
